Welding technicality

Quality control technicality

Internal controls : visual inspection, Liquid Penetrant Inspection (LPI), Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI), dimensional inspection, roughness inspection, tightness inspection, dew point inspection by drying, inspection by feritscope, by tests, and by endoscopy, – realized by NDT Inspectors who have the COFREND niv.2, Liquid Penetrant Inspection et particle inspection niv.2 ISO 9712 certifications.

All of our inspection, measuring and test equipment are calibrated in accordance with the ISO 9001 v 2015 standard.

Controls subcontracted to specialized bodies : x-ray inspection, ultrasonic inspection, material analysis by PMI XRF and SEO, helium leak test and hardness test.

Internal training

STS provides internal training to improve its men skills and to support them in the development of their environment.

Trainees, new employees or workers are trained by other experienced employees, who trained a formation called Trainor-Internal Tutor.
